New material was added to this site by graduate student Micky Badgero and four honors students Matt Emery, and Matthew David Luciw, Andy Schubeck, Colin Stynes under the supervision of Dr. Juyang Weng. Researchers from around the world have been added to the site this semester, along with links, conferences and products. October - December 2000. The Mental Development website, www.mentaldev.org, was initially designed and created by Joe Zimmerman, David Bert, and Barbara Clark under the supervision of Dr. Juyang Weng. April 2000. This site is a result of NSF/DARPA Workshop on Development and Learning (WDL) held in at Michigan State University (http://www.cse.msu.edu/dl/). The participants of WDL suggested the creation of such an information repository. The construction of t his site was supported by NSF/DARPA via a grant to the principal co-investigators Dr. Juyang Weng and Dr. Ida Stockman for WDL. The use of this grant for the construction of this site was approved by NSF/DARPA.
