Mission This web site is an information repository for the multidisciplinary subject of mental development to serve the research community and the general public. It encourages users to supply information to keep the site updated. It is a moderated site so that unrelated material is unlikely to appear in it. This site is a result of NSF/DARPA Workshop on Development and Learning (WDL) held in April 2000 at Michigan State University (http://www.cse.msu.edu/dl/). The participants of WDL suggested the creation of such an information repository. The construction of this site was supported by NSF/DARPA via a grant to the principal co-investigators Dr. Juyang Weng and Dr. Ida Stockman for WDL. The use of this grant for the construction of this site was approved by NSF/DARPA. To facilitate user updates, the What's New page is tailored for each visitor.
